Our seventh grade students were gone all day to the Museum of Natural Science, so only the 8th graders were in class. I'll let them each introduce themselves. We still don't have our email addresses, so I have to post for them.

My name is Ivan Blanton, and I’m in the 8th grade. I am in advanced history, advanced science, advanced math, advanced language arts, Google aps, and football. After school I ride my longboard (skateboard) around town, hang out with friends, or just chill out to some music. On weekend days I mow the lawn, play ps3, watch television, take stuff apart, hang out with friends, or go to downtown Houston and go garage riding on longboards I own a Landyachtz wolfshark, and it is pretty much the fastest board they have. I like dubstep, 60s-90s rock, some rap, and I hate country music. I just recently bought venom supercarve bushings for my caliber trucks. I have barrel boardside, and cone roadside. It’s a really good setup. If you do longboarding and need new bushings I would go for venom.
ReplyDeleteHi, my name is Leighanne Danesi. I’m in 8th grade. The electives I take are this computer class and Teen Leadership. I do homework when I get home. Then I pretty much watch tv. On Monday nights I watch Pretty Little Lairs. I try to hangout with my friends on the weekend. Or I just stay home and do stuff around the house that needs to be done. I really can’t live without my iPod because I have to listen to music. I used to play softball but then I quit because the team I was on was rude to me. I love to go see movies. I just saw Underworld. Iit was so good. That’s definitely not the last one. I could just go see a different movie over and over again in one visit but I would pay for each movies.

I like to play different kinds of sports after school, and on the weekends. Mostly I go home and do other things. My favorite classes are Computer and History. I don’t like Algebra though.

I love the color purple, going to the beach with friends, and chilling with my sisters. My favorite little kid movie is Lady and the Tramp(best movie of all time) . My favorite color is yellow and my favorite thing to do is watch Disney movies. My favorite movie is Peter Pan and has been since I was little. I like to play basketball, run track and hang out with my friends. My favorite season is summer, and we live close to the coast so we go to the beach a lot. During the summer I also go to my dad’s house and he lives hours away from my house, so I don’t see him much.

I’m very athletic and love any kind of sport. my favorite animal is a cheetah. my favorite sport is volleyball. My favorite genre of music is today’s country. I start out very shy if I do not know you but, I start to warm up after a while. I play volleyball at Absolute Volleyball Academy (AVA) and I am on the top team there. ReplyDeleteHey I’m Maddie. I’m in the 8th grade. I take Computers and Art even though I’m terrible at art. I love to watch anime and make YouTube videos; one of my videos is “reaction video to woman in black+updates”. If you have ever made a video you know it’s really fun. After school I watch TV and on the weekends I love to go into the town and walk around for a while sometimes I go to the park and walk the trails. Some of my favorite bands are Blood on the Dance Floor, Three Days Grace, Simple Plan, Green Day, Opeth, and Nickleback, I don’t get all the hate against Nickleback, I mean there a good band. I have an evil Satan Chihuahua named Daisy (ironic she’s evil with a cute sweet name). My favorite food is steak medium rare yummm! Some people think I’m weird or creepy but I just ignore them and go on with my life. I hope to make friends with some of you!

I have 2 electives, technology is one and the other is health for a high school credit. My interests are to read anime and draw it and if there is one play a video game of it. My other interests are to walk home from school. It’s really awesome, plus its good exercise. What I like to do on the weekends and after school is just hangout with my friends.
ReplyDeleteMy name is Katelyn, and I’m in the 8th grade. My best subject is reading, but science is my favorite. My electives are Google Apps and Athletics. Athletics is fun but hard at time. I mean like we run miles, do snakes, lunges, stating your annual exercises. I have a lot of things I like to do such as: running, playing with my dogs, riding bikes, basketball & playing with my friends. My favorite team is the San Diego chargers.I am planning to do good in high school and if I am lucky college. I also enjoy video games,I am a big fan of the Xbox. In my free time I: play Play Station 3, hang with my friends, and go paint-balling and airsoft. Brigantine is a small island and gets very crowded in the summer. The beach is fun in the summer to go swimming and play baseball, football, and soccer.
ReplyDeleteHello, I am Emily from Brigantine. I am in 8th grade and participate in many sports. The sports I participate outside of school are; dance and crew. The sports I participate inside of school are bad mitten, and I play basketball in gym. Right now we just finished playing bad mitten. Every year our school has a bad mitten tournament on Saint Baldrick's Day. Saint Baldrick's Day is an event where boys can shave their heads and girls can cut their hair for the people with cancer. We pay for t-shirts, pretzels, and much more awesome stuff. The money goes to those who unfortunately have cancer. During this event, I feel good when I help others.
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Meghan and I'm from New Jersey. I live on a small island called Brigantine, which is right next to Atlantic City. I am in 8th grade, and go to the Brigantine North Middle School. Brigantine is a pretty awosome place. It is mostly a summer town. We do alot of things in the summer, like go to the beach. My favorite things to do at the beach are surf, body board, skim board, and of course, swim. We also go swimming at the city dock. Alot of people have boats and jet skis around here, so you can find alot of people sailing or boating or fishing or whatever on the back bays. I love to participate in sports. My sport is crew (rowing). I am also in the school chior, and I was selected for All South Jersey Chior, which are select students from all over South Jersey that come together to form a chior. I am really exited to be blogging with you, and I hope to learn more about your school and town.
