We are getting ready for College Night on the evening of May 15. Each of the advisory classes was given a college for which they would create a recruiting poster. This should have gotten our students thinking about their future.
What are your plans for high school and college?
I hope I get to go to a good college. Im not very good at math but im getting better. Getting in a good college isn't easy you have to be really smart.
ReplyDeleteTo me you schouldn't have to be brain smart you just have to be smart. Also getting into high school isn't easy. You have to take a really hard test to be able to pass to get to the 9th grade.
On the east coast all we have to do for high school is take a placement test to see if we should be put in a difficult or easy class. I guess you guys have a more complex and more advanced way of doing things but its probably for your own good
DeleteI want to get into a good college too. I want to go out of the state to experience new places. I'm not good at math or algebra. We only have to take one math class next year, so I'm retaking algebra. There is no way I could do geometry when I barely can understand algebra now.
DeleteI want to go to college of the mainland so i dont have to go that far and its local, and so i dont have to get rejected from other colleges.i want to be a teacher soo that were i would go to be a thercher.

That sounds cool! I love working with technology, I wouldn't know what I would do without it! Being a teacher also sounds fun, you get a chance to teach children something new everyday.

DeleteI plan to hopefully not drop out of High School, and not be borderline on passing. I also hope to take many classes that I like, such as French, German, and Spanish. I also really hope that I don't get stuck with a bad teacher.
ReplyDeleteIn collage I want to get some scollarships to help pay for the tuition. I want to take classes that I enjoy not get drunk and pass out at the parties. Ireally would like to get a job right after I get out of collage too.

ReplyDeleteSo what a is my plan for college. Thats a really good question. I believe I'm going to go to Tarlaeton, that may change over the next couple of years. I still really dont kinow what I want to do. I kinda want to be a techer or asomething to do with the medical feild.
ReplyDeleteWhat i would do if I got into a collge. First I would be saving up for the tution and for all the other stuff. I think college will be fun because you get to live away from your parents.
Medical education sounds fun! I was always interested into becoming a pharmacist. Then, I would know how to make my families and friends better by telling them which kind of medication they should use.

DeleteOkay for high school i'm going to Santa Fe High school for 4 years. I'm going to try to get alot of my credits eairly so I dont have to do a whole lot my senior year.
ReplyDeleteFor college i'm not sure exactly. I just want to be a nurse or a doctor. So any college that is great for learning about those kinds of things I will go to.
That is great! I was actually thinking about becoming a nurse too! I love helping out other people. It always makes me feel better. Also, my mom is a nurse so I can take after her too.

I almost got a scholarship for football till I got injured and my friend Anthony got it. But over all I'm still going to that school my family just wanted a break from the bad economy.
DeleteI plan on completely finishing all my high school classes as quickly as possible so I can start my college courses. I will probably go to the high school in my town, and graduate there too. I want to play basketball and run track and be involved in the community.
ReplyDeleteI want to attend Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches , Texas. I plan on majoring in either physical therapy or nursing and I kind of want to minor in teaching. I highly doubt I get a scholarship there for anything but it would be nice. Sometimes I can’t wait to get to college.

DeleteTeaching would be great. I love teaching children. I remember I taught my brother how to do tally marks. We would say one two three four cross! I am not afraid to teach little children I feel like it would be the best job for me when I get older.

ReplyDeleteI want to attend college at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). I want to attend UCLA because it is a good college to attend for volleyball. I want to try to get a scholarship to go to UCLA. They have indoor and outdoor volleyball I believe. I’m more of an outdoor volleyball person but I can play both. UCLA also won the women’s NCAA championships for volleyball this year.

Very Interesting! I have a family member that is a nurse and it looks like she enjoys it a lot. I also became interested as well, after seeing what she had to do on her daily schedule.

I want to improve my anime art and learn many new techniques of art and animation. I want to the best in Japan and all around the world. I want to be known for my talent so I embrace it greatly. Ever since the first grade,i've always wanted to visit Japan and learn more about their wonderful culture. I'm also learning japanese so I can communicate with locals and my future workers in my animation studio.
ReplyDeleteMy plans for high school is over all to achieve grade wise and sports wise.I want to go Holy Spirit High School and dominate on the football field. In the summer time i'm going to this high school for speed training and weight lifting. After I hurdle the challenges of high school I want to go into college for the same thing, but I want to major in marine biology and study the ocean and everything in it. Someday I am going to try to go in the NFL or my back up plan to be a marine biologist. This path isn't going to be easy but I will try my hardest.

I would become either a history teacher or a language arts teacher for eighth grade. I'm not sure where I want to go to college yet. Before I go to college, I might want to take a roadtrip across the U.S. and then go to college.
ReplyDeleteMy goal for high school is to get good grades. I am going to try my very best and push myself into getting straight As. I am going to ACHS (Atlantic City High School) and everyone I know says they love it there. I always participate in crew so I will be rowing during my high school years. I know I will meet great friends there. ACHS has many activities to participate in. There is a dance class, swim team, my favorite crew, tennis, and many more.

For college, I was thinking about going to the "Academy of Art University". Since I was twelve, I have always been interested in fashion designing. I love to spend my free time to watch fashion runaways and to see the unique styles that can be created. I hope to one day I will become a fashion designer.

I don't have any set plans for college yet, although I am thinking about becomming a lawer or something like that. ReplyDeleteIn September of next year I will be attending Holy Spirt High School. Holy Spirit is a catholic high school, so it is perfect for me. I have been going to church since the day I could walk. I plan on carrying out my faith,so a catholic school fits me great.
ReplyDeleteAfter high school I want to go to North Carloina University and become a sports analyst. Hopefully that works out and I become successful.
